WHAT IS THE AGC?
The Apeldoorn Guides Collective (AGC) is a non-profit foundation with around twenty volunteer city guides. The AGC guides are trained internally and receive regular refresher courses. We enjoy telling you about the history of Apeldoorn and its surroundings. Stories about (cultural) history, heritage, architecture, and nature — but especially about the people!
We do this during our walking tours, but also in lectures and guided bus tours.

WHAT DOES THE AGC DO?
WALKING TOURS
We offer guided walking tours in and around Apeldoorn. We walk not only in the city center but also in other neighborhoods, the Royal Estate (Kroondomein.
For walks in another language, we offer “custom walks.” These are guided walks in your preferred language. The starting point and time will be discussed with you, so it fits well in your day.
Walking tour prices
Unless otherwise stated, the prices are:
- €5 per person
- Children 6 to 12 years: €2
For a custom walk, the minimum price is €35 per booking (Castle Park walk: €52.50).
Duration: about 1.5 hours, unless otherwise indicated,
PRESENTATIONS AND BUS TOURS
The AGC regularly gives presentations about the cultural history, heritage, and architecture of Apeldoorn. We have a number of presentations ready to go, but we can also make a custom presentation if you ask. Location and equipment will be discussed together.
The AGC is also often asked to lead bus tours. We have several standard bus routes through the Veluwe and the city. Other routes are possible on request. If you want to an a covered wagon is also possible!
